As part of the 60th anniversary of Dodger Stadium, the Dodgers will begin their 2022 home schedule with a seven-game homestand. The Cincinnati Reds will the first to face the Boys in Blue for a four-game series on Opening Day, Thursday, April 14, followed by the 75th-anniversary commemoration of Jackie Robinson Day on Friday night, and then a three-game series versus the Atlanta Braves.

Game time is set for 7:10 p.m. where members of all six military branches will unfurl a large American flag in center field during the National Anthem, which will be sung by Grammy-nominated American singer-songwriter Lupita Infante.

There will also be a flyover by two F-35 fighter jets as the Joint Color Guard Armed Forces present the national colors. Jaime Jarrn, a distinguished Dodgers Hall of Fame broadcaster who is in his 64th and last season as the Dodgers’ Spanish-language voice, will toss out the ceremonial first pitch. Jarrn, the 2018 Dodgers’ Ring of Honor inductee, will be accompanied on the mound by players representing each decade of the stadium’s existence.
